Who runs this site

Inscribe is run by [full name or company], [postal address], Croatia (the “controller” under the GDPR). Contact: contact address.

Your book and your message

Inscribe opens the book, adds the dedication page and builds the new file entirely inside your browser. The book, your dedication text and your signature are never uploaded to us or anyone else, and we can't see them.

The site has no accounts and keeps no database. Like any website, our host sees standard request data (such as your IP address and browser) to deliver the pages; we don't use it to identify you.

Advertising

The site is free because it shows ads from Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to show ads and measure them. Visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland are asked for consent first through Google's consent message. You can change your choice at any time with the “Privacy and cookie settings” link that Google's message adds to the page, and you can manage ad personalisation at adssettings.google.com. Without consent, Google may still show non-personalised ads. See how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Your book and your dedication text are never shared with advertisers; they never leave your device.

Amazon affiliate links

Some links go to Amazon (for example the gift ideas below the file picker). As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases made after you click. A book link contains that book's title and author as a search term, so Amazon receives them only if you click it. This site sets no Amazon cookies; after a click, Amazon's own privacy notice and cookie settings apply on Amazon's site. We only see aggregated sales reports, never who bought what.

Ko-fi

After a download we may show a “Support on Ko-fi” box. Nothing from Ko-fi loads until you click its button; then Ko-fi's page is shown inside this one. If you choose to tip, the payment is handled by Ko-fi and its payment providers (PayPal or Stripe) under their own privacy policies. If you hide the box, your browser remembers that for 30 days in its local storage.

Your rights

You can ask for access, correction, deletion or restriction of your data, object to processing, and complain to a supervisory authority. In Croatia that is AZOP (azop.hr). We don't store personal data ourselves; for data held by Google, Amazon or Ko-fi, use their tools or contact them directly.
